I fell in Love with New York almost 7 years ago. And Ive been dreaming of her ever since. Alas It’s going to be a few more years before I can say “Bonjour!” to her again. In the mean time, Ill have to be content just looking at awesome pictures and remembering that awesome OJ and raisin bagel I got from a cute little bakery on broadway.

It seems like everywhere I look lately and on a lot of the blogs that I read, girls are carrying the Mulberry Alexa bag.

I can see why it’s so appealing! Chic, understated, no lables or logos, simple and cant fit everything!

I wish I could say that I own one, unfortunately I don’t, but as of today it’s been added to my wishlist.

I love accessories. Even more than actual clothes I think. I guess it’s because I prefer a simple, chic silhouette. Nothing fancy, no embellishments or patterns, just beautifully sculptured clothing. That’s where accessories (and shoes!) get the chance to take centre stage.

Currently Paris is showing the Spring 2010 Couture collections and I have to say Armani’s range was superb. Simple, chic, elegant, everything that I admire in a designer. What really stood out to me was the gorgeous accessories that he paired with his clothing. Celestially inspired they are just dropping with sophistication. I’d especially love the piece in picture 2.

I’d like to think these pieces (maybe not the diamond encrusted one) would go equally as well with a evening dress as well as with dark blue denim and a simple white tee. What do you think??

It’s high summer in Australia but you wouldn’t know it in Melbourne at the moment. Yesterday the rain was pouring down, the wind was chilly and I slept with socks on. Today although slightly warmer isn’t much better. This unseasonally cold weather makes me think of what Im going to be wearing in the winter months (and what I could be wearing right now if it wasn’t going to abruptly change back to summer in the next couple of days – or so they forecast).

And so I came across these gorgeous caramel boots.

Now I’ve never been one to wear flat boots, fearing that they make an already short me, even shorter and stumpier, favouring the sky high heel to give me some height. But as most Melbourne girls know, trying to navigate the cobblestoned paths and walking most places doesn’t look too favourable on the stiletto (in fact, I probably spend more money getting heels re-capped than I do on a new pair) so a flat boot seems the most sensible option. Plus these ones just look so damn hot that i cant really resist. But I’m currently on a self imposed shoe buying ban until next season so I’m going to have to (for the moment) just look and at approx $600 for these boots, I’m going to need that little extra time to save up for them.

Oh how I would love the Alexander Wang Coco bag. The perfect handbag. Part rock and roll, part feminine glamour. Its definitely the latest “it” bag.

I would realy like to take off on an adventure soon. Ive been frantically entering a competition to win a trip to Canada and a stay at Banff. Ive literally got at least 300 entries into this thing. If i dont win, im going to be shattered. if i do win, i will have to figure out who to take with me. And that could be hard.

In the mean time im going to plan a trip to LA and NY for my 27th bithday, i might even swing by London town on my way home. If i could get there within 12 months i would, but seeing as i cant save for the life of me, im predictig its going to take a little longer than expected.

Any one who wishes to sponsor my next adventure. please get in contact via this blog. I will tattoo your name to my backside in appreciation 🙂

Thanks in advance

Now anybody who knows me, knows i wear too much black and have a penchant for high heels. So this post shall be no suprise, Im writing about a pair of shoes, i desperatly want, yet they arent black *collective gasp from all my friends* yes you heard right. These coveted shoes are not black. In fact they are a delightful summery beige. Now, you might say, beige is boring and oh so 1984, but i dont really care. These shoes would be perfect for brightening up a black mini dress (yes there is the word black) or with a pair of jeans and a cute top for cocktails in the sun. Plus i dont think you can go wrong with a pair of Mr Louboutins’ delicious shoes… and who could resist that sinful red sole?
